Air Liquide Partners with Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce

Air Liquide's LGBTQ+ Business Resource Group started as “ALL” in 2016 and then transitioned to “ALLIES” in 2020 to highlight the more inclusive nature of the BRG and promote our goal of actively supporting the LGBTQ+ community both within Air Liquide and in the local communities throughout the US where our employees live and work. The core mission of the ALLIES BRG is to push for workplace equality for the LGBTQ+ community while also educating employees and getting involved in community events.
As a Corporate Partner of the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce, ALLIES can more strongly promote this mission throughout the Houston area. The Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce is a leading economic voice in the greater Houston region. Their goal is to accelerate economic opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community, through a strong network of business allies, innovative programs, strategic partnerships and advance policies that foster inclusion and equality.
Michael Sloane, the president of Air Liquide's LGBTQ+ Business Resource Group, ALLIES, is excited for the new partnership.

Air Liquide has consistently shown its commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ Community. From 2019-2022, Air Liquide received a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation's 2022 Corporate Equality Index (CEI). The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality in the United States.
