Air Liquide to participate in the 40th annual Texas MS 150

Saturday April 27 - 28, Air Liquide employees will participate in the 40th annual Texas MS 150, the largest fundraising event of its kind in North America. The fully-supported cycling ride from Houston to College Station is for everyone, beginners to expert cyclists.
Air Liquide is thrilled to be a part of this event for the 17th year, having raised more than $338,750 to date, with a goal of $15,000 this year. Funds raised will assist the National MS Society’s research to find a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS) and deliver services to those who face the challenges of MS. Several employees on Team Air Liquide have family and close friends living with MS and complete this ride in honor of them while putting their athleticism and cycling skills to the test!
What is the Texas MS 150?
The Texas chapter of Bike MS hosts the Texas MS 150, a two-day ride that traverses quaint country towns and back roads where riders enjoy rolling terrain on Day 1, with an overnight stay in La Grange. On Day 2, riders will cross the finish line in College Station. This event is more than a ride: It’s an experience grounded in camaraderie and marked by passion, inspiration, determination and pure enjoyment you’ll never forget.

Want to ride, or maybe you’re only interested in helping Team Air Liquide fundraise? Register with the MS Society to join Team Air Liquide! All riders must raise the minimum of $400 required by the MS Society by April 26 to receive their rider packet and participate. Air Liquide will match employee donations of $25 up to $1,000 annually, when following the submission process. Please keep in mind that it may take up to 60 days for the charity to receive the match. The National MS Society's website provides many resources on how participants can make the most impact. All team riders must complete the TX MS 150 Safety Quiz once available.
Team Air Liquide is partnering with our valued customer Emerson for the Texas MS 150 experience this year. As a rider of our team, benefits are:
- New Rider Orientations hosted by the MS Society
- Custom designed rider kit (includes sport cut jersey and choice of bibs or shorts)
- Carb Load & Volunteer Appreciation Dinner with special guest, an MS Society Ambassador
- Houston to La Grange to College Station luggage transport
- Team Check-in Tent in La Grange with access to snacks, drinks and all MS Society provided amenities (showers, food, bike compound, massage therapists and more!)
- Overnight accommodations in La Grange
- Bikes kept at the La Grange Fairgrounds bike compound managed by MS Society
- MS Society sponsored College Station to Houston Charter Bus (rider must secure tickets)
- Fundraising prizes awarded by the MS Society
- Free bike inspections at any official TX MS 150 bike shop before April 20th
- College Station dedicated finish line team tent with drinks, snacks and access to all MS Society provided amenities and food
