Air Liquide continues to make a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work. As part of our ongoing three-year partnership with IM Houston, we recently donated $10,000 to support local military veterans through the organization’s “Heart for Heroes” initiative.

IM Houston operates the largest Meals on Wheels (MOW) program in Texas, delivering more than 1.2 million meals each year to over 6,000 homebound seniors across Harris and Galveston counties. Among those seniors, approximately 9% are military veterans. A recent reduction in government funding, however, threatened to disrupt access to these essential services for some of our local heroes.

Our contribution helps bridge that gap and supports IM Houston’s three key areas of focus: homebound seniors, individuals experiencing food insecurity and military veterans. For homebound veterans, this support means more than a nutritious meal. It also provides important wellness checks and a friendly connection that can help combat isolation and promote independence.

The donation also reflects the spirit of two of Air Liquide’s Employee Resource Groups whose commitment to community service and supporting veterans helps bring our values to life.

We’re proud to stand behind those who have served our country and help ensure that local veterans can continue to live with dignity, connection and independence.
