Air Liquide has been honored with the Houston Food Bank Volunteer Service Award for four consecutive years (2022–2025) in recognition of its sustained commitment to volunteerism at the Houston Food Bank.
Air Liquide's commitment to fighting food insecurity in the Houston area has resulted in significant contributions. Over the four-year period, Air Liquide employees accumulated more than 1,100 volunteer hours, which helped deliver over 67,000 meals. This dedication earned the company recognition across multiple levels, specifically winning two Silver and two Bronze awards.
Adam Peters, CEO, Air Liquide North America said:
"At Air Liquide, we take great pride in being a leader in our communities, and that leadership is largely made up of individual acts by employees. This award proves what we already know — that only by acting for all, can we invent a more sustainable future."
Air Liquide’s sustained involvement is a pillar of its objective to "act for all" and is supported by its global Citizen at Work initiative, encouraging employees to volunteer their time per year in support of the local communities. This commitment extends far beyond the Houston Food Bank, as Air Liquide employees in the U.S. volunteered more than 17,000 hours last year.
