For 19 years, Air Liquide Electronics (ALEUS) has hosted an annual ‘Air Classic’ benefit golf tournament in partnership with Electronics customers and suppliers to raise money to support local programs in the area.  Over the last few years, our program of choice has been the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas.

Recently, members of the Electronics team presented a check of $46,591 to Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas. The money was raised from the Air Classic and will go towards the Girls Scouts STEM program.

The Girls Scouts of Northeast Texas STEM program develops both hard and soft skills critical for STEM, college, and career readiness. The STEM ecosystem that has developed around this program and the first-of-its-kind STEM Center of Excellence includes corporations, universities and other non-profit organizations. All these people are passionate about building the workforce pipeline in North Texas, in STEM careers, or wherever a girl's confidence will take her. Girl Scouts can be the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators and leaders who will break the glass ceiling and soar beyond.

Dhriti Stocks, senior director, Development of Girl Scouts NorthEast Texas, said at the check presentation event, “Thank you ALL for your investment and belief in the work of Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas! We truly appreciate all you do to build the next generation of leaders in STEM!"

The annual Air Classic golf tournament would not be such a success without the many Electronics employee volunteers, who work hard throughout the year and give of their time to plan this wonderful event!
