Air Liquide’s advanced research and development center dedicated to the Americas region, the Innovation Campus Delaware is celebrating its 15 year anniversary!
No one embodies innovation more completely than the teams that make up our Innovation Campus Delaware. Over the past 15 years, the Innovation Campus Delaware has developed particular expertise in hydrogen energy. This expertise is maintained and advanced by the research undertaken at the Campus which includes the study and optimization of electrolysis; development of safety protocols for hydrogen refueling of boats and vehicles, in partnership with the DOE’s Hydrogen-at-Scale Maritime project; as well as the development of a membrane technology capable of upgrading biogas for renewable hydrogen production.
The Innovation Campus Delaware, part of a network of activity across five innovation campuses, in Europe, Asia and the U.S., is committed to developing technologies and applications tailored for a more sustainable world. Air Liquide’s research and development portfolio is diverse, with more than half of its projects focused on energy transition and climate change, the rest addressing the needs of an aging and increasingly urban population, as well as society’s digital transformation.
