Air Liquide has entered into a strategic agreement with Indovinya, the specialty chemicals and surfactants division of Indorama Ventures, for the supply of renewable oxygen. This collaboration highlights how Air Liquide leverages its Texas infrastructure and expertise to support industrial partners in their transition toward lower-carbon production.

Under the long-term agreement, Air Liquide will supply renewable oxygen to support Indovinya’s chemical manufacturing activities in Texas, specifically for the production of one of its primary raw materials. Air Liquide is enabling decarbonization for Indovinya by providing a renewable, low-carbon source that reduces the carbon footprint of certain products by up to 15%, ultimately strengthening Indovinya’s value chain and market position.

Adam Peters, Chief Executive Officer, Air Liquide North America, said: "Air Liquide is proud to partner with Indovinya to support its ambitious sustainability targets right here in Texas. We remain firmly committed to energy expansion and our commitment is reflected in our continued efforts to reduce our own carbon emissions and support our customers as they work towards decarbonization. This agreement demonstrates our ability to leverage our extensive Gulf Coast infrastructure and low-carbon solutions to help our customers achieve meaningful avoided emissions.”

The initiative not only supports Air Liquide’s carbon-neutrality goals but also accompanies Indovinya’s global strategy to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 30% and expands its offering of chemical products with lower environmental impact.
