Hydrogen serves as a critical input for the refining sector and a powerful energy vector to drive progress in transportation, space and beyond. Drawing on decades of innovation across the entire hydrogen value chain, Air Liquide is proud to help bring people together and strengthen the partnerships needed to increase industry’s competitiveness, reduce environmental impact and build a solid hydrogen economy in Delaware and across the United States."

Participants discussed the market trends, industry developments and policy priorities shaping hydrogen’s growth in the U.S.. Discussions emphasized the importance of aligning research, infrastructure, and workforce development to capitalize on Delaware's industrial capabilities and growing cleantech economy.

U.S. Senator Chris Coons said:

“Delaware has always been a place of innovation. I’m proud to have worked with local leaders and the private sector to secure the Mid-Atlantic Clean Hydrogen Hub for our state, so we can continue leading the world in innovation while creating good jobs and securing our affordable energy future. Today is exciting proof of how public-private partnerships will create those jobs and move Delaware forward.”

Air Liquide has deep expertise across the hydrogen value chain, from production and distribution to storage and the development of applications for industry and mobility.
